Installing -- Problems Viewing and Creating Documents
You
are viewing this page because you were unable to completely install the
Iowa Support Master.
When
the Iowa Support Master is installed, the installation requires an
administrative login. In this case something went wrong
installing an activex file called TX4OLE.OCX which we use for viewing
doucments.
Without
a complete installation the Iowa Support Master will continue to
perform well creating documents directly in your word processor. You have lost some advanced features
that are not required.
Solution
The best solution is to reinstall the Iowa Support Master using an
administrative login. Click
here to reinstall at this time. Save the file to your
desktop. After downloading, install by right clicking the
installation file and select "Run As Administrator".
Reinstalled
and still having problems?
Unfortunately, you or your computer may not be capable of completely
installing. In this case you can continue to use the Iowa
Support Master for all child support calculations.
Why
does the program work okay on other computers but not mine?
There is something in your computer blocking installation or your login
limits your ability to perform installations. It could be your
Windows registry has problems and needs cleaned.
SOLUTION FOR COMPUTER
ADMINISTRATORS -
Why is this happening? Iowa Support
Master installs and "registers" TX4OLE.OCX during
installation.
You can manually register the TX4OLE.OCX
file in the Iowa Support Master folder by
using the following regsvr32.exe command from a command prompt.
regsvr32 <Full path of TX4OLE.OCX file>
