Update Issues Explained

99 times out of 100 the problem with updating the software happens because of "permissions." The computer you are using has restrictive permissions settings. This will prevent you from updating the program and that's not good. Please follow the instructions below to circumvent such problems.

 

First and Preferred Option - Free Update Check

See the image below. Go to your "Start" button - > All Programs - > 2010 Iowa Support Master (click on the folder heading it to display the sub-selections) - > Click on > 2010 Iowa Support Master With Free Update Check. You may be asked if you want to "Cancel" or "Allow" - select "Allow" The program should then connect to our server to update the program. If this does not work, go to the next step below.

Final Option - When All Else Fails

Reinstall the program. Go to our "Download" page and install the latest release of the program. This will not erase or alter your saved files.
